BRIGADIER GENERAL SEAN M. FARRELL

Brig. Gen. Sean M. Farrell is the Director, Strategic Plans, Programs and Requirements, Air Force Special Operations Command, Hurlburt Field, Florida. He ensures the 19,000 Air Commandos worldwide are resourced and equipped through force structure planning and programming, establishing requirements and acquisition program oversight through U.S. Air Force and U. S. Special Operations Command processes.

General Farrell graduated from Florida State University in 1990 and received his commission as a distinguished graduate through the Reserve Officer Training Corps in 1990. He is a command pilot with over 3,500 hours in the AC-130H, AC-130W, AC-130U and C-130E aircraft, and has flown combat missions in Bosnia and Afghanistan. He has commanded at the wing, group and squadron levels.
