Brigadier General ROBERT D. DAVIS

Brig. Gen. Robert D. Davis is Director of Operations for U.S. Northern Command, and Director of Cyberspace Operations for North American Aerospace Defense Command and U.S. Northern Command, Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado. He is the principal advisor to the USNORTHCOM Commander on all matters of homeland defense, to include providing strategic guidance to plan and execute missions within the area of responsibility; including land, maritime and air operations, defense support to civil authorities and theater security cooperation, to include the Arctic. As the Director of Cyberspace Operations, he provides integrated command, control, communications and cyber capabilities to support the full spectrum of assigned missions and to facilitate the vital information sharing and command and control needs of both commands. Prior to his current position, Brig. Gen. Davis was the Commander, 378th Air Expeditionary Wing, Prince Sultan Air Base, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Brig. Gen. Davis earned his commission through the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps from Texas A&M University in 1996. Following Undergraduate Pilot Training at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas, he was assigned to the F-15C Eagle and later transitioned to the F-22A Raptor. He is a Distinguished Graduate of Undergraduate Pilot Training, F-15C initial training and the U.S. Air Force Weapons School. The general is a command pilot with 2,800 hours, including 300 combat hours. He has deployed twice to Turkey in support of operation Northern Watch and served as the Director of Security Assistance in the U.S. Embassy, Bagdad, Iraq. Brig. Gen. Davis has commanded at the squadron, group and wing levels.
