Bloody Business: 379th distributes to AOR

Senior Airman Leonard Tesoro and Airman 1st Class Patricia Ibanez verify the inventory of plasma boxes to be shipped at the379th Air Expeditionary Wing’s Blood Transshipment Center in Southwest Asia, June 13, 2013. The plasma boxes were then packed into dry ice and shipped to Afghanistan with other blood products. Tesoro is a 379th Expeditionary Medical Support Squadron BTC lab technician deployed from Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., and Ibanez is a 379th EMDSS BTC administrative technician deployed from Shaw Air Force Base, S.C.
