Family bonds grow after recruiting first sergeant donates kidney to his brother
Dan Florida and his brother, Master Sgt. Chris Florida, 339th Recruiting Squadron first sergeant, sit together the day after Chris donated his kidney to his older brother. Dan suffers from polycystic kidney disease and needed a transplant or he would have required dialysis. Chris did the research and discovered as an Airman, he could donate an organ without jeopardizing his career. (Courtesy photo)
