BRIGADIER GENERAL BRADLEY W. BUTLER

Brig. Gen. Bradley W. Butler is Director, Logistics and Warfighting Integration, and Chief Information Officer, Headquarters Air Force Space Command, Peterson Air Force Base, Colo. He is responsible for logistics and warfighting integration policy, plans, architectures, integration, space systems sustainment, interoperability, resource management, system management, business process reengineering and security of logistics, communications, information systems and programs. The general also manages assigned satellite systems as established by Joint Staff policies, as well as oversight and guidance of the command's Communications Support Squadron, a field operating agency aligned under Headquarters Air Force Space Command's Directorate of Logistics and Warfighting Integration. He directs the resources for all command activities associated with maintenance, munitions, transportation, supply and logistics plans. He also determines logistics requirements to sustain missile and spacelift, helicopters and support equipment at required readiness levels.

General Butler was born in Kittanning, Pa. He received his commission through Air Force ROTC in May 1976, and entered active duty as a missile combat crew training student at Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif., in August 1977. He has had a variety of command and staff assignments in missile operations, missile and aircraft maintenance, logistics, programming, and acquisition positions at the base, air logistics center, product center, major command and Air Force headquarters levels.
