Every drop counts
Rich Paquette explains the newly installed weather system tied directly to a central irrigation system. When there is an eighth of an inch of rain, the weather system tells the irrigation system to shut down. The new system is expected to reduce water used for irrigation at Peterson Air Force Base, Colo., by 50 percent.
