Personal Profile:

Retired TSgt Andrew Evans joined the Air Force Reserves on May 14, 2003. He was assigned to the 67th Aerial Port Squadron as an Air Transportation Technician. Over the years, he has completed annual tours to Osan AB, South Korea; Hickam AFB, Hawaii; Anderson AB, Guam; Norfolk NAS, Virginia; Travis AFB, California and Ramstien AB, Germany. In 2010, TSgt Evans went on his first deployment to Thumrait, Oman, where he worked as a load planner preparing cargo deployed into Afghanistan. Two years later, in 2012, TSgt Evans deployed for a second time to Manas, Kyrgyzstan working to deploy troops to various locations within the area of responsibility. In June 2013, while on annual tour to Elmendorf AFB, Alaska, TSgt Evans was injured in a hiking accident, breaking his back and injuring his spinal cord. In June 2014, TSgt Evans was medically retired from the Air Force. He is married to Kari Jo Evans and has 2 daughters Ellie (6) and Emmie (3).
