Honor Guard firing party

Airman 1st Class Zach Odom (rear), a member of the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard firing party, calls commands during a practice session Jan. 7, 2010, at the Honor Guard compound at Bolling Air Force Base, D.C. The firing party performs the firing of three rifle volleys at military funerals. These teams, usually consisting of an odd number of three to seven members, fire three blank rounds in perfect unison to honor fallen service members.
