AFCAP V increases field assistance

In Feb. 2019, four months after Hurricane Michael devastated Tyndall Air Force Base, Fla., contractors supporting hurricane recovery efforts as part of the Air Force Contract Augmentation Program IV contingency contract installed the final glass panel in the base control tower. The program is a rapid response contract tool managed and serviced through the Air Force Installation Mission Support Center enterprise. The AFCAP V, an eight-year, $6.4 billion contingency support contract, was recently awarded to eight firms by the Air Force. (U.S. Air Force courtesy photo)
