John A. Fedrigo, a member of the Senior Executive Service, is the Deputy Director of Security Forces, Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics, Installations and Mission Support, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Washington, D.C. He is responsible for supporting the Director of Security Forces by providing executive leadership, direction, broad technical knowledge, and executive-level strategic continuity for a worldwide force of 30,000 security forces personnel conducting physical security, antiterrorism, force protection and policing operations. He is also the functional manager for the 1,100-person Department of the Air Force civilian police force.

Mr. Fedrigo has served for 31 years in the Air Force and Department of Defense, including assignments with the Defense Threat Reduction Agency and Headquarters Air Force Security Forces. He also served in security forces assignments at Wurtsmith Air Force Base, Mich.; Plattsburgh AFB, N.Y.; Kirtland AFB, N.M.; Araxos Air Base, Greece; and Southwest Asia. Prior to his current assignment, he was the Deputy Director, Nuclear Support Directorate at DTRA. In this capacity he was responsible for leading DTRA's nuclear weapons safety, security, reliability, accountability and inspection programs.
