Brig. Gen. Sheila Zuehlke is the mobilization assistant to the Commander, U.S. Cyber Command; Director, National Security Agency; and Chief, Central Security Service, Fort George G. Meade, Md. She also serves as a member of the Reserve Military Intelligence General Officer Steering Committee, reporting to the Office of the Secretary of Defense.
General Zuehlke was commissioned in 1983 following graduation from the U.S. Air Force Academy. She was on active duty for 7 years and has been a reservist for 21 years. Following her East-West Fellowship at the University of Hawaii, she began her intelligence career in December 1985 as an Indications and Warning officer on the Air Staff and then became the Air Force Chief of Staff's Northeast Asia Analyst. In 1990, General Zuehlke left active duty. As a reservist, she has served as an analyst and wargamer. Leadership positions included serving as a Joint Reserve Unit Production Manager; Director of Intelligence for 13th Air Force; Commander Pacific Air Forces Air Intelligence Squadron; and Deputy Director of Intelligence, Air Combat Command, Langley Air Force Base, Va. In her civilian career, Brig. Gen. Zuehlke is the President and CEO of a software engineering company.
