Brigadier General Peter C. Bellisario is the director, medical support, and chief, Medical Service Corps, Office of the Surgeon General, Bolling Air Force Base, Washington, D.C. He serves as the senior administrator responsible for the medical logistics, medical information systems, medical facilities construction program and patient administration activities. He also advises the surgeon general on medical administrative matters.
The general entered the Air Force in 1964 as a graduate of the Duquesne University Reserve Officer Training Corps program. He has served in many areas of health care administration at base, major command and Air Staff levels.
