4/18/2013 - BOSTON (AFNS) -- An Air Force captain stationed at Hanscom Air Force Base, outside of Boston, was one of the bystanders seriously injured during one of two devastating explosions that rocked the Boston Marathon on April 15.
Capt. Adam K. Davis is a deputy IPT lead systems engineer with the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Hanscom AFB. He previously served at Joint Base San Antonio - Lackland and the Space and Missile Systems Center in Los Angeles. He commissioned in 2003.
Davis was one of close to 200 runners and bystanders injured during the blasts and is currently listed in serious condition at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston.
