Airmen join coalition forces in EOD mission

7/1/2013 - KANDAHAR AIRFIELD, Afghanistan (AFNS) -- A joint-coalition explosive ordnance disposal mission took place June 12 near Kandahar Airfield when U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army, Slovakian and Australian EOD personnel came together to dispose of excess military ordnance.
Romanian soldiers provided security for the mission while the other NATO partners conducted the controlled detonations, which was an example of the working partnerships between the allied countries.
