Happy birthday, U.S. Marine Corps
Gen. James T. Conway, commandant of the Marine Corps, uses a traditional saber to cut the Marine Corps birthday cake. The Corps celebrates its 233rd birthday with a celebration Nov. 7 in the newly-opened Marine Corps Corridor in the Pentagon. Deployed N.Y.P.D. officer dedicates uniform for 9/11 display
Master Sgt. Rose Condello arranges the badge on her New York Police Department uniform she donated Sept. 11 at a Southwest Asia air base. The uniform was donated for a display at the 380th Air Expeditionary Wing where she is currently deployed. The badge is adorned with the traditional mourning band.
