KORAT ROYAL THAI AIR FORCE BASE, Thailand -- A KC-135 Stratotanker refuels an E-3 Sentry Airborne Warning and Control System here during Cope Tiger '04. The KC-135 is assigned to the 909th Air Refueling Squadron at Kadena Air Base, Japan. E-3s from Kadena and Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska, are controlling the sky in the annual, joint/combined multilateral exercise. The 100th ARW maintains the only U.S. Air Force air-refueling assets based in Europe. Wing airmen are responsible for covering more than 20 million square miles and 93 countries in the European theater. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Meghan Geis)
