Retired Col. Herbert E. Carter shakes hands with an Airman who he just gave the oath of re-enlistment to Oct. 11 at Moton Field in Tuskegee, Ala. Colonel Carter is one of the original members of the Tuskegee Airmen and was on hand for the opening of the Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Site.
