Focus on Priorities

Total Force Airmen around the world focus on accomplishing their mission and executing the priorities laid out by the Secretary of the Air Force Barbara M. Barrett, Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Charles Q. Brown, Jr, Chief of Space Operations Gen. John. W. Raymond, Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force JoAnne S. Bass and Senior Enlisted Advisor of the Space Force Chief Master Sgt. Roger A. Towberman.

This page showcases the remarkable work our team completes on a daily basis to help take care of Airmen, their families and communities; assist local and federal agencies including U.S. and coalition assets and interests; and support the National Defense Strategy by providing combat-credible military forces needed to deter war and protect and secure our nation.

Focus on Priorities

Air Force leaders prioritize the development of Airmen using the Whole Airman Concept, which helps produce leaders that are ready for tomorrow’s fight. The safety of service members, their families and their communities is paramount so Airmen can remain focused on the mission. The Air Force continues to support services that take care of Airmen by implementing guidelines to keep Airmen and their families safe. Through a sense of community among families along with an awareness of community resources, feeling prepared and supported during all stages of deployment, and an increased sense of unit, family, and youth support, the men and women of the Department of the Air Force and the capabilities they bring to the joint fight are in high demand around the globe. By focusing on these priorities, and by building on the solid foundation of innovation and selfless service of predecessors, the Air Force will continue to safeguard the inherited trust of all Americans and their allies.

Focus on Priorities

In order to enable every operational advantage on today’s modern battlefield, American national power depends upon the modernization of Air and Space Forces. The Department of the Air Force and U.S. Space Force are prioritizing and fielding the newest branch of the armed services and modernizing its current Air Force to protect, defend, and fight in, through, and from the ultimate high ground.

Modernization we need allows for a lethal and ready force capable of competing, deterring, fighting and winning war. These elements of the Total Force must be prepared to defend critical assets, increase the resilience of the enterprise, and be prepared to fight and win should deterrence fail.

Focus on Priorities

Pacific Air Forces, U.S. Air Forces Europe-Air Forces Africa and U.S. Air Force Central Command, as well as the Air Force’s Northern and Southern Commands, continue to strengthen partnerships and provide world-class air warfighting capabilities to defend U.S. and coalition interests. In conducting joint training and operations, and immersion with the local communities, our Airmen are fostering bonds that are valuable at home in deployed locations. At the same time, these units are actively supporting the repatriation of Americans whose transport was affected by disease and transporting patients who need vital medical care. Major commands accomplish new responsibilities brought on by pandemics while ensuring continued operations in deterring regional adversaries and firmly addressing great power competitors.
