Photo essay: Pilot achieves 4,000 hours in F-15E
LACKLAND AIR FORCE BASE, Texas (AFNS) --
Lt. Col. David Iverson and Capt. Tim Tendall, with the 492nd Fighter Squadron, flew their F-15E Strike Eagle from Royal Air Force Lakenheath, England and landed here Jan. 10. The about 10-hour flight was supported by seven in-flight refuelings. Colonel Iverson passed 4,000 flight hours in the F-15E during the transatlantic flight.
