Barksdale officials report fatality
BARKSDALE AIR FORCE BASE, La. (AFNS) --
One non-Department of Defense civilian died in a natural gas line fire near an unpopulated area of the East Reservation of Barksdale Air Force Base at about 5:20 p.m., Jan. 6.
Barksdale AFB emergency responders and Bossier Parish Fire Department officials responded to the scene. The fire is under control.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
