37 Rodeo 2007 competition winners announced

MCCHORD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. (AFPN) --   Air Mobility Command's Rodeo 2007 officials announced the winners of 37 awards July 26 at McChord Air Force Base.

Gen. Duncan J. McNabb, the AMC commander, presented the following awards to the winning teams at Rainier Ranch here.

Best Operation Support Aircraft-VIP Special Air Mission: 89th Airlift Wing, Andrews AFB, Md.

Best T-1 Aircrew: 47th Flying Training Wing, Laughlin AFB, Texas 

Best KC-135 Air Refueling Crew: 121st Air Refueling Wing, Rickenbacker Air National Guard Base, Ohio

Best Joint Airdrop Inspection Team: 43rd Airlift Wing, Pope AFB, N.C.

Best C-5 Air Refueling Aircrew: 60th Air Mobility Wing, Travis AFB, Calif.

Best C-17 Shortfield Landing Aircrew: 15th Airlift Wing Hickam AFB, Hawaii

Best C-5 Engine Running Onload Team: 43rd Airlift Wing, Westover Air Reserve Base, Mass.

Best Aerial Port 10K Forklift Operators: 314th Airlift Wing, Little Rock AFB, Ark.

Best C-5 Postflight Team: 60th AMW

Best KC-10 Postflight Team: 514th Air Mobility Wing, McGuire AFB, N.J.

Best C-5 Maintenance Team: 60th AMW

Best C-130 ERO Team: 721st Air Mobility Operations Group, Ramstein Air Base, Germany

Best C-5 Aircrew: 60th AMW

Best Aeromedical Evacuation Contingency Crew: 446th Airlift Wing, McChord AFB

Best C-130 Shortfield Landing Crew: German Transport Wing 61

Best C-130/C-160 Aircrew: German Transport Wing 61

Best KC-10 Aircrew: 60th AMW

Best Individual Combat Shooter: Staff Sgt. Justin Worley, 86th Airlift Wing, Ramstein AB

Best Combat Weapons Team: 86th AW

Forty-eight of more than 60 competition awards have been presented. Rodeo 2007's 15 top trophies, including the coveted "Best Mobility Team," will be presented July 27 during the final Rodeo 2007 Awards Celebration.
