C-21 aircraft crashes at Decatur, Ill. airport

SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill (AFPN) --   An Air Force Flight Standards Agency C-21 crashed at approximately 11:30 a.m. today at the Decatur, Ill. airport.

The aircraft, based out of Will Rogers Air Guard Station in Oklahoma City, was performing touch-and-go training at the airport. The two pilots on board the aircraft are being held at a local hospital for observation.

Emergency crews, both civilian and military, responded to the scene to contain the situation.

A board of officers will investigate the accident.
