Air National Guard delivers mail to Puerto Rico

Aerial Port Airmen from Alaska Air National Guard's 176th Airlift Wing, Connecticut ANG's 103rd Airlift Wing and the Puerto Rico ANG's 156th Airlift Wing work together to load 18 pallets of mail on trucks for the U.S. Postal Service at Muniz Air National Guard Base, Puerto Rico, Oct. 20.The PRANG served as a staging area for 18 pallets of mail transported on a C-17 aircraft from the Tennessee ANG's 164th Airlift Wing. Power outages and a large influx of care packages and relief items from around the world, in support of the 3.4 million U.S. citizens, have quadrupled the average volume of mail destined to the Caribbean island still in recovery after Hurricane Maria.
