Service members stand in on Hawaii 5-0

Tom Sanders (far left) talks with Special Operations Command, Pacific members in a C-17 Globemaster III Feb. 26, 2013, near Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam-Hawaii. Sanders, who has been skydiving for more than 35 years, was on hand to film a freefall jump as part of an upcoming scene for television show “Hawaii Five-0,” in which two SOCPAC jumpers will serve as stunt doubles for the show’s actors. Though it was Sanders’ first jump from a C-17, he’s had the opportunity to jump with high profile clients such as the former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Hugh Shelton and former U.S. President George Bush. This episode will air Monday, April 15 on CBS at 10PM Eastern time. Sanders is a veteran freefall cameraman and skydiver cinematographer.
