National Guard cleaning up devastated Kansas town
U.S. Army Spc. Robbie Gould chainsaws a downed tree May 8 near the courthouse of Greensburg, Kan., after an F5 tornado struck the town May 4. Specialist Gould is assigned to the 226th Engineering Company of the Kansas Army National Guard. Around 500 Army and Air National Guardmembers are in Greensburg removing debris, providing security, generating power, preparing food and performing other disaster relief functions.
