Capt. Dakota Olsen, a 555th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron F-16 Fighting Falcon pilot, takes off on a combat airpower mission June 17, 2015, at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan. Olsen’s job was to provide close air support and armed overwatch for military personnel in Afghanistan. Various sorties and missions are flown throughout the country on a daily basis, providing airpower to ensure a safe and secure environment for personnel at Bagram Airfield.
