Gutsy girl
MCCHORD AIR FORCE BASE -- Jeannine Johnson, daughter of Tech. Sgt. Bill Johnson, had early health problems causing her right leg to stop growing. When she was 5, doctors started to lengthen the bones in her leg. They used the Illizorov technique, involving the appararus in front of her, that eventually helped her leg bones to grow. Now 13, she lives life in the fast lane through drag racing. (U.S. Air Force photo by Master Sgt. Lance Cheung)
