Fairchild barber relives history through customers
FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. -- Wanda Hummer, a barber here, gives a close shave to a regular customer. Mrs. Hummer began cutting hair on the base in 1972 and, with the exception of a short hiatus in the late 1970s, has worked here consistently since. In the past 33 years, she has grown close to many of her customers. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class David Rivas)
