Within the past two years, 2nd Lt. Katherine Shaw, a 633rd Comptroller Squadron budget analyst, competed in one full and one half Ironman race. Shaw is currently training for her second full Ironman race with a goal of beating her previous finish time of 11 hours 40 minutes. Shaw times herself for each portion of the race to reach her goal.
