The Air Force Marathon has officially sold out all races and organizers have announced details for the transfer program.

"The transfer program is the only official way for runners to give their bib to another runner," said Rob Aguiar, the race director.

The transfer program opened on July 21 and will be open through July 31. Runners who wish to transfer their bib will be able to register on the Air Force Marathon website and will be given a special code. That code will allow another non-registered runner to register under that person's bib.

Costs for the transfer program vary for each race and charges will apply to the person transferring in to a race. This is the only official way to transfer a bib.

"Running a race without the correctly registered bib is against race rules," Aguiar said. "It's important for safety and health reasons that we know who is running our course."

Race Transfer program processing fee:
Full Marathon $40
Half Marathon $30
10K $20
5K $10
