Airman featured in Warrior Games documentary Published Oct. 22, 2014 By Steve Otero Air Force Wounded Warrior Program JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-RANDOLPH, Texas (AFNS) -- Master Sgt. Christopher Aguilera will be one of the wounded warriors featured on Universal Sports Network’s documentary-style special ‘Warrior Games: The Fight Continues,’ airing 8 p.m. EDT, Oct. 22. The two-hour original production tells the stories of five U.S. wounded service members veterans demonstrating the power of ability over disability in their personal recoveries, including their journeys at the 2014 Warrior Games that recently took place in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Two hundred wounded, ill and injured service members and veterans representing the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force and U.S. Special Operations Command participated at the 2014 Warrior Games from Sept. 28 - Oct. 4, at the U.S. Olympic Training Center. The games were hosted by the U.S. Olympic Committee in partnership with the Defense Department, and are designed to introduce injured service members and veterans to Paralympic sport competition and encourage them to stay physically active when they return to their local communities following the event.
