Evacuation
CLARK AIR BASE, Philippines -- In 1991 U.S. Air Force and Marine personnel evacuated a truckful of munitions aboard a helicopter at the height of the Mount Pinatubo volcanic eruption at here. The lahar, (hot mudflow) and ash fall from the volcano resulted in extensive damages to major facilities on base.
