3-time Super Bowl champ, AF pilot reflects on America’s game

Chad Hennings played for the Dallas Cowboys for nine seasons. During that time, he was part of three Super Bowl winning teams and played in 119 games, recording 27.5 sacks. Before his NFL career, Hennings graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1988 and went into pilot training. He would eventually fly an A-10 Thunderbolt II in 45 combat sorties over northern Iraq during two deployments in 1991 and early 1992. (Courtesy photo/Dallas Cowboys)
