Razor Talon provides joint training for air, ground components
The opposing force scurried around the arid airfield to prepare for an oncoming attack. Without warning, a pair of A-10C Thunderbolt IIs screamed toward the airfield and simulated multiple strafing runs decimating a radar jammer. A Tactical Air Control Party specialist embedded with the 82nd Airborne Division out of Fort Bragg, North Carolina, confirmed the target was destroyed from a hideout in the woods nearby.

Warrior exercise integrates Air Force, Marine search and rescue mission
Exercise Coronet Warrior 17-01 was a two-day event that tested the abilities of the 4th Fighter Wing members to complete contingency operations at an overseas location in our current area of responsibility.
Members of Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina and Marine Corps Air Station New River, Jacksonville, North Carolina, completed a simulated rescue mission during CW 17-01.

An explosion of training
The 4th Civil Engineer Squadron hosted a joint-service explosive ordnance disposal exercise Sept. 13 - 15, 2016, on the EOD range at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina.
EOD Airmen assigned to the 4th Civil Engineer Squadron organized the three-day exercise to familiarize EOD technicians of the munitions involved with the F-15E Strike Eagle. To maximize the effectiveness of the exercise, the organizers invited their counterparts at both Camp Lejeune, North Carolina and Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina, to participate.

Seeing a range of injuries from wrist pain to post-surgery recovery, the 4th Medical Operations Squadron’s physical therapy technicians aim to get their patients back to good health so they can continue the mission.

Seymour Johnson Airman shines at inter-nation championship
Her journey was full of unknowns. She was thousands of miles from home and in a very unfamiliar land. As foreign as she felt, there was one 7-foot wide circle that made her feel right at home.
For Airman 1st Class Jessica Johnson, a 4th Aerospace Medicine Squadron public health technician, it was the moment she had long waited for. As she stepped into the circle, she remembered all the training, the blood, sweat and tears she had poured into preparing for this opportunity.

`Swoosh’ welcomed as 334th FS pilot for a day
He's nine years old, loves basketball, and has a heart as big as his smile.
Jeremiah Seaberry, also known by his call sign "Swoosh," was made an honorary member of the 334th Fighter Squadron during a 4th Fighter Wing Pilot for a Day (PFAD) event, April 3.
