Staff Sgt. Joshua Greene, is just one of more than 30 Sexual Assault Prevention and Response victim advocates at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, who are the first line of support for victims of sexual assault. The victim advocate offers support to their clients, facilitates their decision making, informs them of their rights, serves as a liaison among agencies, accompanies their clients to appointments, offer crisis intervention, conducts safety planning and works with other helping and law enforcement agencies until their services are no longer needed or requested.
