With a packed room of not just people, but also emotion, Staff Sgt. Alexandria Morrow was remembered by colleagues and friends Mar 23, 2017 during her memorial service at her deployed location. Members of her deployed unit, 332nd Expeditionary Maintenance Squadron, shared stories and memories that painted a picture of a weapons load crew chief who touched the lives of many.

Tech. Sgt. Kevin is a 15th Reconnaissance Squadron intelligence operations supervisor and the intelligence flight NCO in charge at Creech Air Force Base, Nev. He created a program called Squadron Intelligence Reconnaissance Interface, codenamed SIRI, which is an application used by remotely piloted aircraft crew members to execute the mission more efficiently while being more situationally aware. SIRI helps aircrews by acting as a search engine to quickly relay conversions, locations, abbreviations and other information resulting in over 58 command functions on the most used secure internet relay chat by RPA aircrews. The Airman Leadership School on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson graduated a class as normal Dec. 18, 2014, but this class had some graduating members who were out of the ordinary. In addition to the normal class of Airmen who lined up for handshakes and graduation certificates, there were a few Sailors, a few Coast Guardsmen and one Paratrooper from the 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division.

Staff Sgt. Madut Bul was labeled a 'Lost Boy of Sudan' by the United Nations as a teenager. A Sudan native, Bul trekked more than 1,000 miles on foot along with roughly 30,000 other children in the early 1990s to escape the destruction and mayhem of civil war. Despite the horrors he witnessed, Bul joined the U.S. Air Force approximately eight years ago, and now shares his story to be an inspiration and testament to resilience.
