SECAF’s top 10 themes discussed at spouse, family forum
During a spouse and family forum hosted by Air Force Secretary Deborah Lee James in October, participants submitted more than 170 threads on the forum’s event page. The topics included spouse employment and child care access; Air Force programs for families with special needs; and schools, assignments, deployments and reintegration. Based on common questions and themes, below are the top 10 concerns presented by Air Force families.

Air Force agents prevent online exploitation of children
Child sex crimes are not unique to any particular base but are a perpetual problem across the Air Force and society.
Online exploitation of children continues to be a problem and is routinely investigated by the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI). As part of this effort, AFOSI field units have partnered with Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task forces throughout the United States, especially where a task force is located in the vicinity of an Air Force base.

Pediatricians care for young patients of Operation PACANGEL-Nepal
More than an hour's drive along uneven, dirt roads outside the nearest major city is the rural village of Manahari, Nepal, where the Shree Rastriya Rotary Secondary School can be found. Hundreds of Nepalese people line up outside the gate of the compound, now a temporary a site for health services outreach as part of Operation Pacific Angel-Nepal.
