The Arizona Air National Guard's 161st Air Refueling Wing sends over 30 Airmen to participate in the Department of Defense's Innovative Readiness Training Program at Camp William Hinds in Raymond, Maine, July 8, 2014. Over 500 service members of the U.S Army, Marines, Air Force and Navy engineers are assisting with the project. This joint operation of military personnel will provide labor, construction equipment, and fuel for the project. The project involves construction of a new dining hall, a relocated shooting range, a new access road, a multi-use field, a new sporting clay area, and a variety of improvements to the 86-year-old camp. Guard and Reserve civil engineers from around the country are using their skills here to refurbish Camp William Hinds for the Boy Scouts of America. Through the Department of Defense's Innovative Readiness Training program, or IRT, military construction units partner with civil organizations for military training projects that can benefit underserved communities. The Camp Hinds project is a joint training effort led by the Air National Guard.

An electrician from Royal Cambodian Armed Forces assists with wiring at Tram Kok Health Canter Sept. 12 during Operation Pacific Angel 13-5 Cambodia. Work is almost complete at the site. Tram Kok and two other health centers are being renovated. The operation is scheduled to end in two days. Thirty-six U.S. forces and RCAF are working together on the health centers during engineering civil action U.S., Cambodian Airmen support Pacific Angel
Twenty engineers from the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces have spent the last four days working alongside 16 engineers from U.S. forces to provide engineering assistance to the citizens of Takeo.

The metal-over-metal retrofit integrates cool roofing, solar-power generation, solar thermal, above-sheathing ventilation and rainwater catchment into one holistic system.

First Lt. Renee Kittka paints a window  Aug. 6, 2013, during Operation Pacific Angel 13-4 in Jaffna, Sri Lanka. More than 50 Air Force, Army, Marine Corp and Navy personnel are in Jaffna on a humanitarian mission to refurbish schools and provide medical care to Sri Lankans during PACANGEL 13-4. Kittka is assigned to the 354th Civil Engineering Squadron at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska.
