The program, CAPRAP, utilizes officer and enlisted Reserve Airmen as liaisons between local CAP squadrons and the Air Force.

Lt. Col. Vianesa Vargas, joined the Joint Task Force - National Capital Region in support of the 58th Presidential Inauguration, which will take place Jan. 20, 2017. Vargas, the chief of Joint Team Records, is leading the movement of President Barack Obama’s records and artifacts from Washington D.C. to Hoffman Estates, Illinois, just on the outskirts of Chicago. She’s the lead logistician in charge of a joint team of Airmen and Soldiers who have been preparing semi-trucks full of artifacts. In all, more than 20 trucks are expected to make deliveries from October through February. Many former presidents have a library in their namesake, showcasing many records and artifacts from their presidency. A library in honor of President Barack Obama is scheduled to open sometime in 2021 in Chicago, where records and archives from his presidency will be on display. However, the movement of items that will be on display aren’t transferred like a typical household goods move.
