BRIGADIER GENERAL JOSEPH M. REHEISER Brig. Gen. Joseph M. Reheiser is Commander, Air Force Security Assistance Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. He leads the agency charged with promoting security assistance and national security objectives by building relationships with U.S. international partners. General Reheiser received his commission after graduating from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1978. He has held key staff positions in the National Guard Bureau, Headquarters Military Airlift Command, Headquarters Air Mobility Command, Headquarters U.S. Air Forces in Europe and the Joint Staff. General Reheiser has commanded at the squadron, group and wing levels, to include commanding the 314th Airlift Wing at Little Rock AFB, Ark. During his command, the 314th AW was recognized as the Air Force's best C-130 wing and best airdrop wing. General Reheiser is a command pilot with more than 4,800 hours in multiple aircraft. He commanded the first operational combat C-17 deployment during Operation Joint Endeavor in Bosnia. As Commander of the 86th Operations Group, he controlled all C-130 and operational support airlift aircraft during Operation Allied Force and led Operation Rapid Guardian, the first combat airdrop in Europe since World War II.
