BRIGADIER GENERAL (DR.) JAMES T. TURLINGTON Brig. Gen. (Dr.) James Thomas Turlington is the mobilization assistant to the Deputy Surgeon General, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Bolling Air Force Base, Washington, D.C. General Turlington served on active duty from 1970 to 1981. He was recalled to active duty in January 1991 for operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm as the Commander, 11th Contingency Hospital, Lackland AFB, Texas. In his civilian capacity, he is in private practice as a urologist in Muskogee, Okla. He is a Federal Aviation Administration medical examiner, and is on the staff of Muskogee Regional Medical Center and St. John's Medical Center in Tulsa.
