Major General LAURA L. LENDERMAN

Maj. Gen. Laura L. Lenderman is the Director of Operations, U.S. Transportation Command, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. She is responsible for directing and providing associated policy guidance for the all-domain deployment of forces and the distribution of supplies and equipment for wartime, peacetime and humanitarian operations for the Department of Defense. In addition, she has operational control of the Defense Courier Service and the Joint Operational Support Airlift Center.

Maj. Gen. Lenderman graduated from Duke University with an Electrical Engineering degree in 1993. She has commanded the 15th Air Mobility Operations Squadron at Travis AFB, California, served as the Vice Commander of the 380th Air Expeditionary Wing in Southwest Asia and has commanded the 375th Air Mobility Wing at Scott AFB, Illinois, and the 502nd Air Base Wing at Joint Base San Antonio, Texas.

Prior to this assignment, Maj. Gen. Lenderman served as the Director of Operations, Strategic Deterrence and Nuclear Integration, Air Mobility Command, Scott AFB, Illinois.
