Maj. Gen. Daniel H. Tulley is Vice Director for Joint Force Development, Joint Staff, the Pentagon, Arlington, Virginia. The Vice Director for Joint Force Development serves as the principal assistant to the Director for Joint Force Development, assisting the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff developing and providing guidance for joint force development, concept development, joint training, operational analysis and lessons-learned.
Maj. Gen. Tulley received his commission through the ROTC program at Duke University in 1992. He has extensive operational and combat experience flying multiple aircraft. He has commanded in garrison, crisis and combat, and at the squadron, group and wing levels. His staff assignments include Air Mobility Command, the Joint Staff, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, and he was the Senior Military Assistant to the Secretary of the Air Force. Prior to his current position, General Tulley was the Commander, 379th Air Expeditionary Wing, Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar.
