U.S. Marines assigned to 2nd Distribution Support Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group and Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 252, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, conducted aerial resupply training at Marine Corps Outlying Field Oak Grove, North Carolina, to improve proficiency and tactics in an expeditionary environment, Feb. 28, 2024. Due to the unique training environments Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point’s outlying fields offer, organizations across the Department of Defense and local law enforcement frequently utilize the facilities, ranges and spaces to conduct training exercises.
