Windows XP Users: Select “Start,” open “Control Panel” and select the “Display” icon to open the Display Properties panel. From the tabs across the top select “Desktop” and scroll through the “Background” selection box, to select “Browse.” Navigate to the folder where you stored the wallpaper. Select and “Apply” the wallpaper and close the Display Properties window. MAC OSX Users: Open “System Preferences” from the Drop down Apple icon. Select the “Desktop & Screen Saver” icon. Select “Desktop” from the box at the upper center of the page. Then select “Choose Folder” in the scroll down box. Navigate to the folder where you stored the wallpaper. Once you have selected the wallpaper “Apply” it and then close the Desktop & Screensaver window.

YF-12A Blackbird
YF-12A to withstand skin temperatures of more than 500 degrees Fahrenheit (generated by air friction), 93 percent of its structural weight is made up of titanium alloys. The aircraft also is coated with a special black paint that helps radiate heat from its skin. All aircraft components were developed especially for the environment of sustained Mach 3+ cruise. NB-52B Stratofortress
1960's--The NB-52B is still used as a test aircraft and carrier aircraft for research vehicles at the NASA. In addition to supporting the X-15 and Lifting Body programs, the NB-52B was used as a mothership for the Spin Research Vehicle, DAST, Pegasus and X-38 programs, it was also used to test drag chutes for the F-111 and space shuttle.
