Air Force Good Conduct Medal. Illustrated by Virginia Reyes of the Defense Media Activity-San Antonio. This image is 4.5x8 inches @ 200 ppi. Created in 1963, this medal is awarded to any enlisted member of the United States Air Force who completes three consecutive years of "honorable and faithful service". This implies that such service was completed without any non-judicial punishments, disciplinary infractions, or court martial offenses. The three-year mark "resets" if the service member commits an offense and the service member must perform an additional three years of service without having to be disciplined, before the Good Conduct may be authorized.
