DOD officials identify Air Force casualty

WASHINGTON (AFNS) --  Department of Defense officials announced Sept. 22 the death of an Airman who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.

Senior Airman Michael J. Buras, 23, of Fitzgerald, Ga., died Sept. 21 of wounds suffered as the result of an improvised explosive device detonation in Kandahar, Afghanistan.

He was assigned to the 99th Civil Engineer Squadron, Nellis Air Force Base, Nev.
