Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Norton Schwartz will be a keynote speaker at the Air Force C2ISR Symposium and Technology Exposition, to be held Sept. 28-30 at the MGM Grand Hotel at Foxwoods in Ledyard, Conn.  C2ISR is command, control, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance.

General Schwartz, the Air Force's highest-ranking military member, will address the symposium during a luncheon Sept. 30. He will be joined by a number of senior military and industry speakers throughout the event, ranging from operators to budget experts and acquisition professionals.

The symposium, co-sponsored by the Air Force Electronic Systems Center here and the Paul Revere Chapter of the Air Force Association, kicks off Sept. 28 with a golf tournament, followed by an opening reception that evening.

The next two days will feature presentations from senior government and industry speakers, with an evening Aerospace Education Scholarship Dinner Sept. 29.

Online registration for the symposium has begun, with a number of companies securing exhibit hall space and attendees signing up, according to Angela Dupont, president of the Paul Revere Chapter.

"We're excited to have the chief of staff of the Air Force as one of our speakers," Ms. Dupont said. "Working closely with Col. Rob Domniguez and his 350th Electronic Systems Wing, we have invited a number of interesting people from the Department of Defense and industry to make up what we think will be an exciting line up of informative presentations focused on command and control, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems. I hope people will mark their calendars, because this is shaping up to be a can't-miss event."

Ms. Dupont expects to announce the complete agenda for the symposium in the coming weeks, as invited speakers confirm their attendance.

To register, sign up for booth space or secure sponsorship opportunities, visit the chapter's Web site at www.paulrevereafa.org and click on the symposium link. The cost to attend is $350 for government and $450 for industry.

During the registration process, attendees will be able to reserve a room at the MGM or other participating hotels at Foxwoods by clicking on a link that will take them to the hotel's registration page.
