'Today's Air Force' features security forces Published June 1, 2009 SAN ANTONIO (AFNS) -- This edition of "Today's Air Force" highlights security forces at Misawa Air Base, Japan; Hurricane Hunters from Keesler Air Force Base, Miss., and the Critical Days of Summer. Security forces Airmen from Misawa AB were graded on gate security, how they handle a crisis such as a robbery, and on other scenarios during a three-day readiness exercise. Also, for the first time, civilian and military bloggers and tweeters went for a ride on a WC-130J with the Hurricane Hunters from Keesler AFB. And the weekend leading up to Memorial Day kicked off the Critical Days of Summer, a dangerous time for Airmen. The 30-minute, weekly news show can be seen every day on The Pentagon Channel, American Forces Radio and Television Service stations around the world. The show also airs on more than 140 public cable-access stations within the United States.
