Clubs gain 10,000 new members, name prize winners

The Air Force Clubs Division recently gained more than 10,000 new members during their annual membership campaign.

This year's campaign featured a first-ever "card choice" option, where members chose the type of club membership card they want -- either the full use MasterCard or a limited use Proprietary Club membership card.

Air Force Clubs Division is part of the Air Force Services Agency located in San Antonio.

All new and current club members were given the opportunity to win one of 10 $1,000 prizes for completing an online survey.

"Our bases did a great job of executing this year's program and promoting the benefits of club membership," said Fred McKenney, the chief of AFSVA's Air Force Food and Beverage Division.

"The information and feedback we receive from our members is extremely important and helpful to us," said George Miller, the chief of AFSVA's Food and Beverage Operations Branch. "We will use the information provided in our continuing efforts to enhance the quality and variety of member programs and benefits."

The $1,000 prize winners are:
-- Senior Airman Dale Hegler from Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho
-- Robert Gitthens from Patrick AFB, Fla.
-- Staff Sgt. Donald Ryals from Misawa Air Base, Japan
-- Retired Brig. Gen. Ralph Locurcio from Patrick AFB
